The Japanese House with a Large Roof by Architect Café

Tokyo studio Architect Cafe designed this unique Japanese house. Situated on the border between the developed dwelling and country view, the unique house features a large sharply pointed roof. A dramatic roof is used to establish as a family and house itself. Contrasting on the opposite side, this house is looked as geometrical form. The house design is unique and traditional design. The house is constructed by the wooden to give a traditional impression. The house includes a sliding screen of translucent panels to allow the owners having full control of light intake and privacy. The unique house features the openings to allow natural light and wind enter to the house and to allow the inhabitants to feel natural phenomena. The house consists of two levels. Three bedrooms and two terraces are on the upper level, overlooking the views.

The Renovation of the House Three Sisters by Drawing Notes

The Japanese house is renovated by Drawing Notes . It is located in Tokyo, Japan. Besides completing as their present lifestyle, the renovation of the two stories house is to strengthen the structure of the house, but to maintain the silhouette and three sisters’ favorite red-tiled roof. On the first floor, the small rooms are incorporated becoming spacious well-lit living-dining room to create a family room. Securing a large space and strengthening the structure, the renovated house features curved alcoves, which snuggle into earthquake-resistant organized on both sides of the window. Organizing earthquake-resistant on both sides of the windows, there is the void surrounded by those walls, so the void serves as a closet and a computer room. The kitchen can be accessed directly from the laundry room passing the rest room.
