The Swellendam House is one of the private residences, which provides magnificent scenery. The contemporary house is located in the valleys of Langeberg Mountains, South Africa. Designed by GASS Architecture , the house design should be not interfering and uniting in it because of the original natural landscape. The private house uses local textures and materials to maintain its distinctly Southern African origins. The form of the modern house is very simple and practical, consisting of three volumes. The public rooms are in the largest volume, while the private rooms are in the smaller volumes.
