This unique house is built for two artists. Located in Puebla, Mexico, it is completed by M + N Arquitectos in 2010. The house design consists of two volumes: one for daily activity and the other for work. Two volumes are connected by a glass bridge, with wonky windows. There are two different materials, which construct the house. A concrete covers the main bedroom of the house, directed to the south. A brick covers the office room, directed to the north. Surrounded by amazing views of the city and surrounding landscape, the concrete house has concrete-framed windows, which are angled towards specific views. The windows are also conceived as distinctive architectural elements identifying unique aspects of the home. The house has the public areas, containing a dining room, kitchen, living room and hallway, which is as a library lending to dual function and form. Incorporating the house design entirely, the floor is finished in polished cement.
