Pacific Place is a complex of office towers, hotels and a shopping centre located in Hong Kong. It becomes as a premier shopping destination in Hong Kong. Renovated by British designer Thomas Heatherwick , the building design features waves of stone ripple around the corners of a Hong Kong shopping centre. To carry out fluidity’s feeling, The Building uses an organic approach, such as natural forms and materials. Limestone and Bedonia stones are the materials establishing the renovation of the building. The building has flat skylights to replace the previous pyramid-shaped ones, so natural daylight is kept inside the building. The roof is transformed into a public terrace. The building has a new signage system around the building to help the visitors to look for the way. Photography is by designer Iwan Bann.
