The Special Mention Awards of High Rise Building Design Competition

This is one of the nominees of the 2010 eVolo skyscraper competition. This project which was designed by 4th year student , got a special mention in the eVolo sky scraper competition. The concept design from the duo of Ryszard Rychlicki and Agnieszka Nowak (H3AR) is comprised of a system of gutters to catch as much rainfall as possible. The rainwater collected and processed by the building, so they can be used for flushing toilets, feeding washing machines, watering plant, cleaning floors and other purposes.

There are water reservoirs under the roofs surface which are in the a large funnel and reed fields. Those reservoirs serve as a hydro botanic water treatment unit. After processed to e useable water, that it will transit to the apartments. The rainfall is capture and flowing down the building through the gutters on the external surfaces of the building. The surplus water is stoned in a under building reservoir.
