The Altis Belém Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal was designed by RISCO Architects. The hotel located in Belém, on the waterfront to the east of the Bom Sucesso Dock and opposite the Belém Cultural Centre. The Altis Belém Hotel is a 5-star hotel with 50 rooms and a number of facilities intended to support water sports.
The hotel building has two floors main structure which lies perpendicular to the Tagus in order to capture the vistas of the city and the estuary. This building was also designed to get the clear views along the axis between the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. A rectangular platform connects to the restaurant and this space created more privacy for the guest. Above the platform, there is an open green space.
