The Design of Fake Hill Residential Building

The rapid China’s growth population needs the availability of economically housing. This under construction project is one of architectural innovative solution. The Fake Hill is a residential apartment building which is located on a waterfront site in Beihai, China. The building will provide residential, office and hotel facilities in 492,369sqm building area on 109,203sqm site area. This unique building has a height in range of 106 – 194 m.

The building design based on two typologies for the residential developments, those are high rise building and long low rise blocks. Just like the shape of the hill, this shape is represented the topological site and also to maximize the vistas. This will be landmark building has transformed the traditional Chinese architecture’s obsession with nature by creating a structure that become the man-made natural shape itself. Design by MAD
