This unique building is located in a town at the hillside of Mount Fuji in the Yamanashi prefecture, Japan. Hoto Fudo Restaurant was designed by Japanese architect, Takeshi Hosaka Architects. The building takes a site in corner lot, near the highways. The Hoto Fudo restaurant is unique with dome-shape and half-circle doors and windows. With this shape, it may resist to the earthquake. The interiors are so simple, with minimalist design of wood tables and chairs. The great view of Mount Fuji can be seen from inside, framed by half-circle opening.
