Again from Eric Owen Moss, he has designed the Box which is located on the roof of the office. This area is functioned as a private conference and meeting room. The Box consists of three groups. A reception area with semi-cylinder shape is the first group. The second area is an exterior stair that will take the guest to the roof deck. Below the roof deck, there is an exposed truss system supports the roof deck. The natural lights come into the reception area through the glazed zone between the square deck and round roof. The last area is a private 3rd floor conference room where the Century City on the west and downtown Los Angeles on the east can be viewed. This adition building in Culver City, California has 12,240 sq ft areas and got some awards: AIA/CC Design Honor Award 1995, DuPont Benedictus Award 1995, and AIA/LA Design Design Award 1994.
