De Rotterdam the Vertical City in Netherlands

This high rise building design features three interconnected mixed-use towers. De Rotterdam has complex programs in 160.000m2 gross floor area. This mixed-use building accommodates Offices 72,000m2, 220 apartments 35,000m2, hotel (280 rooms / conference center / restaurant) 19,000m2, parking 25,000m2 (approximately 650 parking places), retail / public program 6,000m2, fitness 2,000m2, central lobby 700m2, loading 300m2. The site of the building is the former harbor waterfront between KPN tower and Cruise Terminal at Kop van Zuid. The building will be about 150m high, designed by OMA Architects and will go under construction at the end of 2009, with completion scheduled for 2013.
