Behnisch Architekten has designed the new office building for Unilever Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Located right by the river Elbe in Hamburg’s HafenCity, this office building designed to welcome the city and its inhabitants with its friendly-designed atrium. The atrium as the focal point of the building is flooded by daylight. Here on the ground floor, people can get closer to learn the company by browsing in the Unilever products shop, lounging in café, or relaxing in spa. The office building design follows the sustainable design principles in architecture. This Unilever building got the newly established HafenCity EcoLabel in gold.
